Day 28

Wow. This past month has been one full of creativity from both myself and my fellow TAD-ers. I have seen some amazing photography, cooking, sowing, crafts, drawings, video, poems, all manner of creative expression. For my last submission I leave you with the last verse of one of my favorite songs of all time, 'In the Aeroplane Over the Sea' by Neutral Milk Hotel. It was written in the late 90's by Jeff Magnum as a part of his album of the same name, which he has confessed is a tribute and expression of his love and sympathy for Anne Frank, the renowned Jewish Holocaust victim who documented her the last two years of her overly short life in her diary, 'Kitty'. The entire album, 'In the Aeroplane Over the Sea' is considered one of the most influential, if not under appreciated albums of the past few decades, and I encourage anyone and everyone to give it a listen.

Can't believe how strange it is to be anything at all

Day 24

Hey guys! Busy day today. I started to test shoot pictures for my upcoming senior show. My cousin introduced me to the artist Ursula Sokolowska, and her technique of projecting images over her models with an external projector and attempting to create an interplay between the models and the image. I am planning on doing a series of female models, but like any responsible photographer, I am experimenting using myself as a model before I subject a model to hours of tweaking and experimenting. There were a lot of outtakes, but here are a couple of the more successful shots. Thanks for looking!
